ESAMUDAAY

Designed around the ethos of a decentralised digital future, the eSaudaay app brings a new perspective on our interactions with our neighbourhood community. It is a marketplace and community sharing platform for a digital, locally managed ecommerce business. The design was centered around creating numerous unique customized digital experiences by creating switchable ‘Circle’ profiles. Each Circle profile was presented with a unique identity and ‘home’ inside the app.

MERCHANT FIRST DESIGN

The human mind is capable of many wondrous things. Nexstem takes this superpower to the next step of evolution. It aims to redefine what it means to be human, by unlocking the mind’s true potential. The logo represents the brand attribute of “Think beyond thought” in a minimal and effective way. The inner negative space is an abstraction of a human head, while the filled, colorful space shows the expansiveness of the mind. The pictorial mark represents the broadening of horizons, opening of minds, and transcendence of our biological limits. It also resembles a doorway to limitless possibilities.

ADAPTS TO CONTENT

We designed the application to be used by autonomous independent 
local businesses. This meant designing the UI to accommodate various 
fidelity of information such as images and titles. The UI was designed to 
look clean anticipating the different level of completeness of user 
generated content.

NEXSTEM

Our foray into the world of Brain Computer Interface, or BCI for short, started with our collaboration with Nexstem. This rebranding project included a revamp of their ethos, identity, logo and visual style, which later translated into their products as well as the web application.Let’s have a look!

The core of the brief was to create a compelling logo that does justice to the innovative and futuristic work that Nexstem are doing. While the earlier logo was minimal, it served a functional purpose more than an emotional one. It showed exactly what the BCI headset is about, rather than talk about the bigger picture. The new logo not only brought a new dimension and narrative to the brand, but also added a spark of colours, not seen before in the segment.

IMPACT

With a strong and cohesive brand identity, Nexstem has managed to raise both funds and eyebrows in the months following their rebranding. The brand and logo was appreciated in various expos and exhibitions all round the world, and often became the first thing people notice and remember about the organization. The accolades and a strong recall value that the rebranding got Nexstem was noticed and appreciated by their investors, who themselves loved how the entire project turned out. We are certain that the brand will continue to make waves and take Nexstem further in the years to come.

LOCAL DIGITAL SPACES

We created a local digital spaces for different Circles on the application. Each of these circles have their own identity which is strongly visible through the cover images on the homescreen. These covers are designed to be customised by Circle to a instil a sense of belonging among the circle community.

Each such local digital space have a fully self contained network of sellers. Users can easily explore different circle allowing for free movement while retaining the independent identity for the circles themselves. 
 

STORES

Being the primary function of the app, stores were designed with the vision of simplifying discovery of products and service. The UX was designed to allow for rich one to one interactions between users and sellers on the app. The designed as accommodative of the plethora of shop and service businesses that could form a part of the circle ecosystem on the app.

CIRCLES

Circles form the building block of eSamudaay’s vision of a decentralised digital future. Circles are self-contained communities of people of people and marketplace sharing a common culture. This idea of circle became the focal point for the design of eSamudaay’s app. Each circle represents a unique micro-cosm that get its own identity on the UI.

COMMUNITY

With a homepage designed around the community events and happengins in a circle, the design brought forth a unique local flavour to the app experience. The idea of putting forth content at the forefront of the app gives the app a sense of belonging beyond transaction.
